Prepare Visit

Please warn us if your pet has been aggressive in the past for any reason.
Cats

Unless you have a truly outgoing cat, it may be better to keep him or her in a small area before the appointment, such as the bathroom or a bedroom, to be easily found when we get there.

Please keep your outdoor cat inside before the visit.

If lab tests are expected, you may be asked not to feed for 6-12 hours before the visit.

If there are urinary issues, you may be asked to restrict litterbox access for 2 hours before the visit.

Let us know what kind of kitty treat your cat likes!

Dogs

If you have a young or energetic dog, it might be a good idea to get in some exercise or playtime earlier in the day, to help decrease nervous excitement during the visit.

If lab work is expected, you may be asked not to feed for 6-12 hours before the visit.

If there are urinary issues, you may be asked to obtain urine prior to the visit, or you may be asked to not walk or let your dog out for a couple of hours before the visit.
